•Performing patrols around the residence to ensure the safe security of students.

3.Residence Service Officer.
I started working at the Residence Department here at Saint Mary's university on September 2023. I am of student security team under the supervision of the Assistant Director, Residence Services.
My duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
•Using Alma Ex Libris to update IDs, loan books to patrons, and sign them back.
Addressing basic issues and helping users resolve problems related to library resources.
Aiding users in locating resources and navigating library databases.
•Using LibAnsswers to monitor complaints from patrons in case of noises, incidents, etc.

I started working at the Global Learning & Intercultural Support Office here at Saint Mary's University in January 2023. As a GSO ambassador I am tasked with reviewing existing programs, partnerships, and policies, and then making recommendations to create inclusive and accessible experiences for future study abroad participants.

My duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
Maintaining the office website and making timely updates to it.
Reviewing existing programs, partnerships, and policies, and then making recommendations to create inclusive and accessible experiences for future study abroad participants.
•Help promote study abroad opportunities, and deliver tailored wraparound support for, low-income students, students with disabilities, and Indigenous students.

I started working at the SNAP center in September 2023. I am part Saint Mary's undergraduate science students who have a demonstrated record of academic excellence in our first and second year mathematics, chemistry, biology and/or physics courses.
The Science Numeracy & Academic Proficiency (SNAP) Centre provides free peer-tutoring support for students enrolled in first-year Science courses, and some second-year Science courses too. The courses I tutor include:
MATH 1190 Fundamental Mathematics.
CSCI 1226 Introduction to Computing Science and Programming.
MATH 1210 Introductory Calculus I.
CSCI 1228 Advanced Computer Programming and Problem Solving.
MATH 1211 Introductory Calculus II.
My duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
Evaluate student assignments, exams, and projects.
Provide constructive feedback to help students understand their strengths and areas for improvement.
Work closely with the course instructor to understand grading standards and expectations.
Ensure confidentiality and security of student information.
Report any concerns or issues related to student performance to the instructor.

I worked as a Teaching Assistant (Marker) for the Faculty of Science here at Saint Mary's University from July - August 2023 and September - December 2023. I graded the courses;
CSCI 1226 Introduction to Computing Science and Programming.

My duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

I worked as Summer Student Conference Services here at Saint Mary's University from May - September 2023. I was part of a big team that ensured guests had an excellent experience while staying on our campus.Guests came from all over Canada and as far as the United States for North American Indigenous Games held here in Halifax.

My duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
Offering conference services to guests in Loyola and Vanier over the summer.
Act as a point of contact for guests, ensuring their needs and preferences are met.
Maintaining a well-organized inventory of cleaning supplies and promptly restocking them.
•Respond to emergencies and address safety concerns.
Offer a friendly and helpful presence to enhance the guest experience.

I worked with the Refugee Consortium of Kenya from August 2021 to July 2022. Our mission was To protect and promote the rights and dignity of refugees and other forced migrants through enabling programs on legal aid, advocacy, and awareness creation.
8.Legal-Aid Translator.
My duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
Helping refugees report violations of human rights by translating from Somali to English/Kiswahili and English/Kiswahili to Somali in verbal & written form at the Legal Aid Clinic
Organizing and translating in community sensitization forums on Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) Prevention and Response.
Giving telephone feedback to clients who require urgent feedback on their cases or any other necessary information.
Opening physical files for new clients and tracing physical files for clients following up there cases.
Attending and translating in Court proceedings and in police stations/prison visits when required to translate.
Refugee protection and community dialogue forums on peaceful coexistence and conflict management.
